Double-Duty Denim

So while denim on denim is having a moment right now, putting the look together can seem a bit intimidating.

The key to make the look work this spring? Take an oversized denim jacket styled with high-waisted, ripped jeans and combine it with a basic or a cool logo tee and a pair of statement shoes for master hi/low chic.

Find the right accessory: Keep the jeans limited to your clothing and just say no to any other denim accessory – no denim shoes, no denim hat and for sure no denim handbag. And the big DON’T: Look to Westerns for inspiration. That means stay away from accessories like cowboy boots, cowboy hats, bolo ties, and Western belts. I’m sure you don’t want to end up looking like a cowboy caricature, right?

So let’s go blues!! Don’t be afraid to do double denim! It’s fun mixing two jeans pieces into one look and when done right, it really is one of the best looks…

I’m wearing:

Jeans: Topshop / Jacket: Asos /  T-shirt: Acne Studios / Shoes: Zign by Zalando / Bag: PEDRAZA LONDON / Earring: Mango / Sunglasses: Cheap Monday
